CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
We, at Bussan Auto Finance India Private Limited (BAF India) understand that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a set of practices that organisations follow, to contribute to the well-being of their immediate community.
Indian Government has taken several initiatives in the past and is also actively involved in implementation of initiatives to achieve the social inclusiveness, which requires investment of huge money, resources and commitment from all stakeholders of the society. In accordance with the same, the BAF India has incorporated a CSR Policy and is committed to fund its CSR activities in line with its CSR Policy and harmonization with its business activities.
BAF India contributed a part of its CSR fund in the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund in December 2018.
In November 2019, BAF India signed a MOU with Asian Centre for Organisation Research and Development (ACORD), an APPROVED IMPLEMENTING AGENCY (IA Hub Code: A000059) for a CSR project to be known as “Traffic and Road Safety for Two-wheeler Drivers” in two cities namely Delhi and Hyderabad.
BAF India’s CSR initiative is focused on inculcating and enhancing the sense of SAFE DRIVING and civilising the thinking of such drivers, particularly the Bike Riders, to improve their standard of living and bring a sense of security to their families. Our project focuses on the education of the Two-wheeler drivers for their self-reliance and growth.
The project involves interaction with the general public through various representations, quiz competitions, street plays, Santa activities, group discussions, leaflets, slogan competitions and distribution of prizes. For these interactive sessions, permissions from the respective police stations, RWAs and other concerned authorities are taken for smooth execution.
